Happy Holi Eve, or Holika! Holi celebrations start on the eve of Holi, known as Holika, with an evening of bonfires. Communities gather to perform religious rituals in front of the bonfire and give offerings. They pray that their internal evil should be destroyed as the bonfire starts.
